So, I just finished playing Cave Story for the first time. Got all 3 endings. Great fucking game. Best platformer/shooter I've ever played. The story is simple, but there's just something about it that makes me love it so much. Also, the music is incredibly catchy and awesome, specially in the "Sacred Grounds". Find it and play it NOW.

Balrog is the shit, he's my favorite character in the whole god damn game. 'nuff said.

This is my new desktop image. I was getting tired of the color red.

Balrog is the best character in the game, hands-down. His appearance is so unique yet simple all the same. The battles I had with him were so full of energy. My only complaint, though,*Spoiler for those who have not gotten the best ending* is him saying 'Hiyah!' when he comes to save Quote and Curly instead of his signature 'Huzzah!'. It really gets to me...But still, he's an awesome character. ALL HAIL THE TOASTER LUNCHBOX THING!

Just finished Cave Story for the 3rd time in 3 days and probably gonna do the same tomorrow.
I friggin love this game. and I've spend last 15 minutes looking up this painting here on DA

haha yeah, it's challenging to get through it, but once you're finished with the game, you feel like you can't just let it end there

yeah, if only the last boss wasn't so fking hard I would've finished the extended ending(by last boss I mean all that god damned corridor that comes all the way to the prop house without any save along the way.)
